Red Bull F1 Vs. F18 Jet ! Who wins ?

Red Bull F1 Vs. F18 Jet ! Who wins ?

Red Bull may not give you wings literally, but it sure can make you feel like you’re flying.

Formula 1 racer, Daniel Ricciardo took to the runway in an orthodox race against a military fighter jet, and even gave it a run for its money.

The Infiniti Red Bull Racing show car, with a top speed of 380 km/h got a quick start to lead the race before the F/A-18 Hornet roared from its two jet engines with a top speed of 2,000 km/h to dash into the sky.

The race took place in a military airbase in Melbourne, few days before the Australian Grand Prix. Now there’s some perspective. A spectacular race and perhaps some may argue, an unfair one. How can a car, no matter its speed, possibly beat a jet? But think again. The real winner is neither the Formula One car, nor the Hornet. It is neither Daniel Ricciardo directly or Flight Lieutenant Michael Keightley. Rather, the winner is Red Bull, with viral views on its bright and branded car being covered by major media outlets all over the world, showing the company’s personality and flare for the dramatic and desire to take risks.

The fun, exciting and unconventional marketing race no doubt not only gained Red Bull’s driver more supporters but also drew in interest from the mass audience and particularly the aviation industry to a place they wouldn’t normally venture.
